My Story
In 2011, I co-founded a natural foods company called Wild Friends Foods with my best friend and college roommate. Over the 13 years we ran the business, we pitched on Shark Tank, launched 30+ products in more than 7,000 retail stores and across multiple e-commerce platforms, built a giveback program that donated thousands to nonprofit partners, and became a Certified B Corporation.
Like most founders, I wore many hats, but my focus and passion were in branding, marketing, and product innovation. I gained hands-on experience with influencer marketing, social media, trade and consumer events, shopper marketing and retail media, email marketing, e-commerce management and optimization, product innovation, go-to-market strategy, and brand positioning.
I'm passionate about brand building and love crafting the best possible product and brand experience for consumers. In my view, the CPG brands winning today are the ones with standout products that are also investing in real relationships with their customers, rooted in trust and authenticity.
